What is Stellaris all about?!
We are an inter-denominational Christian organization that desires to teach students about Christ’s love for them and for the world. Our name, Stellaris comes from a Latin word meaning “to shine like the stars”. We picked this name because it is our mission to use all our energies to raise up young people whose love for God and service to others will make them shine like stars in their generation– a beacon for all who seek salvation through Jesus Christ (Phil. 2:15-16). Our goal is to educate young people in their faith and exercise them in service!
At Stellaris, everything we learn will be from the Christian perspective. Throughout the trip, we will have time together where we discuss what we’ve seen and learned and how it relates to our lives as followers of Christ. We will pray together, and we will end every night together with a short devotional time.
We are committed to a small group size with a student to counselor ratio of no more than 6:1. All of our counselors have a long history of following Jesus and working with young people.
Additionally, we are committed to honor Christ with our company. As a result, we tithe 10% of the cost of the land portion of your trip to educational/charitable/humanitarian efforts. This also means that some of the cost of your school break is tax-deductible!
It is our goal to take the worry out of travel for you. As a result, all our trips are completely all-inclusive. There are no optional excursions where attendance costs extra and there are no surprises! All travel, transfers, entrance fees, passes, donations and gratuities are covered. Every single meal is included, unlike most trips which usually only include half your dinners and no lunches. So you just need to relax and let yourself be touched by God!
