Tracie Roberson Heidt, Executive Director


Qualifications

Our director, Tracie Heidt, has been a Christian for over 25 years and has had a passion for travel since she was a little girl. She has visited more than 20 different countries and has been a weekly Youth leader since April 2000. She has been leading Christian education and mission trips for over 8 years.


Employment and Volunteer Work:

Sixes United Methodist Church August 2006 to present

Woodstock United Methodist Church April 2000 to Dec 2004

• Youth and Children’s Ministry Leader (pro bono)

• Promoted personal and spiritual growth in young people through fellowship, discipleship, service and mission opportunities as both a teacher and a youth leader. Created custom educational curriculum, researched, organized and led several domestic mission trips, organized and led numerous one-day to week-long youth retreats, organized and led numerous day trips for children’s ministry, facilitated and led youth participation in several social awareness charitable functions, was a direct supporter of mission trips and tsunami and Katrina relief efforts, was an integral force in many charitable benefits for local needy families, and worked with local homeless ministry.

Budget and Personnel Assistant

• Promote education to the general population as to the importance of cultural knowledge and diversity through artifact conservation, seminars, workshops and in the museum gift shop. Primary responsibilities included training and supervising work study students and volunteers, assisting in the execution of numerous educational special events and fundraisers, reorganizing accounting system for operative efficiency, preparing budget projections and monitoring and distributing payroll for up to 65 employees.

• Direct financial supporter of various tsunami and Katrina relief efforts

• Participated in various committees that organized and led many benefits for local needy families and children for gas, groceries, school supplies, summer lunch programs and Christmas gifts

• Worked with homeless ministry to provide Sunday hot breakfasts and worship services to homeless locals
